1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are signed in, your display preferences, and how you have interacted with the service.
Radiaq also uses browser local storage for storing certain preferences client-side. This policy covers both cookies and local storage where applicable.
2. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are required for Radiaq to function. They enable core features such as signing in and maintaining your session. These cookies cannot be disabled without preventing you from using the Service.

3. Authentication and Session Cookies
Radiaq uses WorkOS to manage authentication. When you sign in — whether with email and password or via Google OAuth — WorkOS sets session cookies in your browser that identify your authenticated session. These cookies are cleared when you sign out or when your session expires.
If you use "Continue with Google" or another OAuth provider, that provider may also set cookies as part of their authentication flow. These are governed by the provider's own cookie policy.
4. Preference Storage
Radiaq stores a small number of UI preferences in your browser's local storage. This includes your selected color theme (light, dark, or system) and cookie consent status. These values are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers or used to track you across sites.
5. Analytics
Radiaq may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate usage of the Service — for example, which features are most used or where users encounter difficulties. If analytics are used, the data collected is anonymized or pseudonymized and is not linked to your individual account. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party services that Radiaq integrates with may set their own cookies when you interact with their features:
- WorkOS — sets session and authentication cookies as described above
- Stripe — may set cookies when you access billing or payment pages to prevent fraud and enable secure transaction processing
- Google / OAuth providers — if you use social sign-in, the OAuth provider may set cookies as part of their identity flow
Radiaq does not control these third-party cookies. Please review the respective cookie and privacy policies of WorkOS, Stripe, and Google if you have questions about their data practices.
7. How to Control Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. The process varies by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note: Blocking or deleting essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Radiaq and using core features of the Service.
